I hope everyone is having a wonderful Monday. Work has been crazy today and I am actually looking forward to my workout this evening. It seems to help with my daily stress when I make it a priority to workout. Now that I’m trying to build daily good habits I find certain workout clothes, shoes, and gear that I really enjoy. I wanted to share them with you.
Shoes- Everyone loves comfortable shoes and I have found a pair that works great for me. They are Asics Gel Kayana 7’s. After owning Reebok, Nike, and Adidas shoes in the past I tried a pair of Asics a few years ago and they just didn’t do it for me in comfort and support. But, I must say that the Kayana version is wonderful with great arch and heel support and comfort with just the right amount of support and gel. Check them out because I see lots of super deals on pricing as I looked them up today.
Workout clothing and gear- Champion brand has become my go to gear for comfort and mobility during my workouts. These capri pants make any workout seem possible.

Also, their sports bras are quite comfortable and usually on sale when you buy 2 or more.

I have to drink a lot of water daily and I get tired of filling my water bottle up multiple times a day AND trying to remember how many bottles or cups I have had a day. This water bottle is great because I can’ usually drink two a day and I have my daily water amount. I like that the lid has two different options for drinking also.

And one last final item I can’t live without are weighted hand gloves. I have two sets and they actually came with certain workout programs. But, this set on Amazon are close to the same design for comfort and not awkward to wear while working out.

Whew! I can’t believe we are already in November! October was a super busy month at our house. Our son is now 9 months old. It is hard to believe that in just a few short months we will be celebrating his first birthday. I must say the past few weeks have been difficult because he is teething! I never imagined how hard it would be for him and for us. He does well most days but at least once a week he is up a few times in the night with pain and discomfort. He has his bottom two incisors and he is now working on his top incisors which seem more painful. Other happy updates for him is he has learned to clap with us and he is babbling all the time. He healed up very well from his tongue and lip tie surgery a few months ago. I enjoy every day with him even when we are sleep deprived!!
I must update and say that October has left little time for my weekly workout schedules. I did well for the first part of the month, but the last two weeks I have not made it a priority for me. I am making it a goal to get back on track this week. My energy level has decreased tremendously and I do not enjoy that side effect of little or no physical activity. I am still using TurboFire as my main workout schedule and I am going to start again on week 3 for the daily calendar I will follow.
Even though my workouts decreased in October, I am still happy with my personal results. I have lost 2 more pounds and 2 1/2 inches from waist. This is extremely exciting on the waist measurements since I often wondered if I could get my abs back in shape after pregnancy and you can! On the days I wasn’t working out I tried to make sure I ate well and did not consume too many calories.
Here’s to staying motivated in November and getting in shape before we start the new year.

Since having our son last January I’ve been trying to save on food and other items as much as possible. I have recently found some new ways to save and I wanted to share them with you. If you have a local Kmart you can earn points which equal money off your next purchase. You just need to be a shop your way rewards member.

Once you sign up look for any coupons that give you $5 or $10 back when you spend a certain amount. Then the next time you shop you can use your points for money off your total.
Also, Kmart has certain weeks where they double up to $2.00 manufacturer coupons when you spend at least $25.00 before your coupons. But, this is only for Shop your way members!
Also, I have been looking for the best deals on diapers, wipes, and other items for us. Here are my favorite coupon sites that I have found. They have lots of links to coupons you can print or the best deals at your local favorite supermarkets.

When I’m not doing an actual program I like to make my own workout schedules. Two of my favorite trainers are Jessica Smith and Chalene Johnson. They both have you tube channels which are great to add to your you tube subscriptions.
Jessica Smith’s workouts are for any level of fitness. From indoor walking to toning she has it all covered for you. I enjoyed these during my first and second trimester of pregnancy also.
Jessica’s workouts are usually easy to follow and she is super motivating. Here is a link to her website too and the best part is they are all free!

Chalene Johnson also has a you tube workout page. She doesn’t have as many workouts free online, but you can see what her workouts are like and try them out. Here is her you tube 7 day free workout challenge list. Her actual program workouts are definitely different that these workouts, but you can see the types of moves she likes in her routines.
